helping jing xiu :)dear girl, i still do not know what came over me to want to go all the way down to school but all i can say is
anything for you, dear! :) hahah.. well, this morning was really rather silly indeed. first, we went to school to borrow joshua's thumbdrive but all the computers in school could not be used so we had to trouble malcolm by using the computer at his house. finally, what jing xiu needed to do was completed and according to her, the presentation went much better than she expected so
thanks to the self-proclaimed nice guy (josh) and 'there' (malcolm)! :)
i then took the bus down to meet cheryl and carol to buy the logistics stuff for the camp, after which we went back to carol's house to get the letters ready. that was pretty fun, though i highly doubt that carol will invite me back there anytime soon, especially as far as her msn account is concerned. hahah!

Leonardo-do Ang Mu Er's (ie LAME) birthdaygosh. what a mad
rush yesterday was. i
rushed home from church then
rushed back out to town for the abovementioned activity. the first stop was actually nydc to collect the cake but a last minute change of plans had me
rushing all the way back to cineleisure to meet the rest for lunch. after that, we went to the sofas to sit down for a chat and miang & i left to buy drinks and more importantly, collect the cake. we took much longer than we should have because of a mix up between the two nydc branches so everyone else seemed to be able to deduce that we had gone to get the cake. everyone, that is, except the
innocent (*roll eyes* heh.) birthday boy who did not have a clue,
or so he claims. hahahah.. he actually believed the story that we did not have the time to buy something for him. aiyo. how could you have thought that we were so heartless? *shakes head* wahahahah..
p.s. everyone please make a mental note not to bother wrapping up presents for this guy because he takes sooo long to unwrap them. the wait just makes you wish that you had not even wrapped them up in the first place. ha..

lia & i went to ikea to get the farewell/housewarming gift for fidelis and had a very good time calling that dear girl about
HANDS! wahahahah! to all secret (or not-so-secret. heh!) admirers of hers, she prefers
soft hands! =D hmm. i seriously have no idea what the bizarre reason behind our sudden purchase is but according to lia, it's the "season of giving" so that's good enough reason for me. besides, fidelis' braces seem to agree! hahah! =) oh my. ikea products are so darn cute (fi, the phrase is stuck in my head already. hee.) la. i
love the finger puppets! and the red heart cushions too! dear mrs sandra, i'm going to be thickskinned and demand that you invite us to your house one day k? heh. (: take care in china, dear! x)

Happy Birthday, Hazel! =)Cerise, Lia and I woke up bright and early this morning to catch the 10:40am (is that early or is that
early??) show at
yishun because the birthday gal had to get back to school by 1pm. The movie that we watched was 'Just Like Heaven' and it was
completely free of charge, mind you! =P The show was pretty good, in the sense that it was sweet, touching and all, in other words, a typical chick flick! Hahah..
Class outing the other day had a poor turn out again, with only about ten people who went. 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' was just as disappointing. Yeah, the scenes were certainly breathtaking but that is exactly the point. The best part of the movie was the scenes and effects instead of the story itself. The ending was not bad though, with just the right amount of suspense and build-up. Actually, I have not even read the book yet so
anyone kind enough to lend it to me? :) Oh yes. My apologies to the guys, especially Hwee Hou, for the cancellation of the original sentosa plan. Trust me, I am just as upset as you are. =(

lucky me had the honour of spending the day with her today and boy did we enjoy ourselves. well, at least i did and i sure hope that you did too! =) hmm. the day began with us being
good gals who decided to start 'studying' again, or rather, make notes, which i should have done ten months ago. i'd say that that went pretty well, besides the occasional tempation to catch a few winks but with music to the rescue, (and each other's company, of course. hee.) we each managed to accomplish a couple of chapters so a pat on the backs for us! :)
after being such very hardworking girls, (okay. so we did not really accomplish
that much but it's a start, right? that's good enough for me now.) we decided to head on down to town to try to catch 'sky high', which we did, thanks to darling daddy (the
real one, mind you.) who was so extremely sweet. gosh. i have this sudden urge to give him a hug right away. hahah!
well, since we had an hour to spare before the movie started, we got our stuff out again and continued our notes-making. see? didn't i say that we are
good, hardworking gals? =P then this really nice & polite (that's quite a rare sight these days) waiter from starbucks came over to us and offers us free samples of their new coffee flavour and man it is good! even better were the very cute mini cups & straws which were
christmas-themed. argh. i can't stand it. they're so (to quote her)
DARN CUTE! :)
well, basically, the rest of it was just full of chatting and laughing.
dearest fidelis, i'm really so glad to have a friend like you. i'm still in utter disbelief that we have been so near and yet so far all these years. how could we never have gotten to know one another before? man i've missed out on so much! heh.. i'm truly happy that we are much closer now. it's amazing what og is capable of! ;) i love you, dear! x)

fighter who does not and will not give up so easily, especially not when you've come so far already. no worries. all of us will help you through this little hurdle and you
will emerge victorious. =)
fidelis & i had a great time at the joke shop yesterday, buying get-well-soon presents for zong. dear girl, we gotta go back there again some day soon and really explore the place. they have so much cool stuff there! oh my. i just remembered. you still owe me that dinner treat at swensen's! =P
after that, we proceeded to zong's place to visit the
STRONG guy who just got discharged from the hospital. we're proud of you, zong! you've done really well thus far and we believe that you can definitely keep it that way. just keep smiling that goofy grin & you'll do just fine. (: well, we chatted with him for a couple of hours, together with mich (why did you have to leave so soon? *pout*), lia & mr caleb
lame lim.
we'll visit you again soon, zong! in the meantime, if you ever get sian of that cuteeee balloon, just give me a call & i'll gladly take it home with me. hee.. TAKE CARE, IJ BOY! =D
